Arizona Spring Activities Checklist

Spring in Arizona might not officially be here for another few weeks. But the sun is shining, the weather is warming up and the boys of summer are in town—it might as well be spring! In honor of the upcoming season of renewal, Sphinx Date Co. offers some fun, beautiful and relaxing ways to take advantage of early spring in Arizona. 

Catching a Spring Training GameBatter up! Spring Training is here and there is almost no better way to enjoy a beautiful day outdoors than with America’s favorite pastime. Grab a cold one and a hot dog, settle in on the lawn and watch a game!

Checking out WildflowersMany areas around Arizona and the valley itself are known for their incredible wildflower fields. Budding photographers and professionals alike will be treated to blankets of colorful blooms as the weather continues to warm up through the season. The Phoenix Sonoran Preserve, Spur Cross Ranch and the McDowell Sonoran Preserve are just a few of the places residents and visitors can view stunning wildflowers in a rainbow of colors.

Enjoying a Festival or Farmers MarketSpring time is perfect for perusing a farmers market for local products while enjoying tasting nibbles and live entertainment. Festivals abound throughout the season too. From the Arizona Renaissance Festival to the Carefree Fine Art and Wine Festival, there is something for everyone.  

Taking in the Valley’s Best Patios and Rooftop BarsWhy not sit back and relax with great company, awesome food and drink, local entertainment and beautiful views? From Thea and Lon’s at the Hermosa Inn in Phoenix to Old Town Tortilla Factory in Scottsdale and Keeler’s Neighborhood Steakhouse in Carefree, the valley has numerous restaurants where the rooftops and/or patios are the place to be!

Exploring Scottsdale’s Art SceneThere are dozens of galleries throughout the Scottsdale Arts District and beyond. Art lovers could spend a whole day, or more, discovering the myriad of art represented throughout Old Town. Visit some galleries, explore a museum or check out large-scale public art around town. 

Playing a Round (of Golf, that is...)Get teed up for a day on the greens! Scottsdale—and Arizona as a whole—is home to some of the most enviable courses in the country.  

Soaking up a Spa DayNeed some “ahhhhh”? How about a day at the spa? There are countless resort spas and boutique salons that offer unique services and treatments that can send stress packing.
