Strawberry Sorbet - Sweetened with Dates

A refreshingly sweet treat that is perfect to enjoy during the hot Summer months!
Ingredients and Method
Ingredients
- 1 lb. Fresh Strawberries
- 1/4 Cup Dates
- 1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
Method
- Cook dates in water for 10-15 minutes over medium-low heat, stirring often.
- Reduce to a paste, remove from heat and cool.
- Add all ingredients to food processor to blend.
- Pour in an 8x8 glass baking dish and freeze for 4 hours.
- Remove from freezer and pulse mixture in food processor to break up.
- Put mixture back in 8x8 dish and freeze for another 2 hours.
- Serve with a mint or lemon garnish & enjoy!
